Gorey's Robin Copeland Man of the Match for Cardiff Blues   20/10/2013

Gorey's Robin Copeland Man of the Match for Cardiff Blues

Former Gorey RFC underage player Robin Copeland was Cardiff Blues Man of the Match in their stunning Heineken Cup victory over the reigning European Rugby champions, Toulon, on Saturday. The Number 8, whose recent outings for Cardiff have been attracting much attention of late, gave a huge ball carrying performance with his attitude & commitment firing up both his team mates and those watching from the stands.

Robin is the son of a former Gorey RFC Club President, Ned, and a brother to 2 current first team players with Gorey RFC, Adrian & Neville. All in Gorey RFC wish him ongoing success with Cardiff and we hope that a continuation of these fine performances will lead to greater recognition for him on this side of the Irish Sea also.
