2015 Provincial Towns Cup 1st Round - Gorey at home to Mullingar

This Sunday sees the 2015 Provincial Towns Cup kick off with Gorey welcoming Mullingar RFC to Clonattin on Sunday with a 2.30 kick off.Mullingar are one of the form sides in Div 2A of the Leinster League this season & will make the trip to the South East full of serious intent. They come in to this game on the back of a home win having beaten New Ross last weekend.
Gorey have experienced mixed fortunes for the end of 2014 & the beginning of 2015. Silverware won away to Enniscorthy, in the South East Final, has been followed by a Leinster League home win against Longford sandwiched between 2 agonising narrow loses away to Wicklow & then last Sunday away to Kilkenny. If any positives can be drawn from last week it is how well the lads played & how much possession they had in the game plus once again the huge travelling support.
There is no point in having home advantage if we aren't going to use it. The lads always appreciate the support given so please get out in force. A good start to the PTC will give us all, players & supporters alike, a great boost and some more quality rugby to look forward to.
