Gorey RFC Players in International & Provincial action

Well done to Niamh Doran & Paul Boyle who both made the big step up from Club rugby in the recent days.
Niamh was a member of Ireland U18 Sevens Girls team that lost a tight Bowl Final to Wales East, at the Sainsbury UK School Games, in Manchester over the last weekend. Over the course of the 6 games Niamh scored a very impressive 3 tries.
On Saturday 5/9 Paul captained the Leinster U19 team in a massively convincing win over Connacht. Paul & his team mates emerged as very convincing winners, on a scoreline of 91 to Nil, with Paul bagging a try for himself also.
Two great role models for Gorey's Mini & Youth players who are now back in action. Minis Rugby is every Sunday at 10 & is for Boys & Girls from U7 (born 2009) to U12 (2004). Youths are in action on various nights during the week. New players are always very welcome to come up & give it Try.
