Gorey U 17's had a free weekend as they had a bye in the South East League and with their next competitive match looking like a Leinster League Quarter Final against Nass at home on the 14th of January it is important that they keep up their competitive edge, with this in mind they have set up a friendly match next Monday night the 19th of January against the Leinster Under 16 South East Development Squad in Clonlattin K.O. 7.30pm.

Gorey U17's has three members who are part of the Development Squad, Zach Sinnott, David O'Neill and Conor Kinsella and two member on the Leinster Youths Panel, James Nolan and Josh White and with all these players been allowed to play for their club on the night it should be a very interesting game.

All support is welcome. In the New Year Gorey have lined up a very tough friendly against their old southern rivals Waterpark, who always give us a very competitive game and this is fixed for the 7th of January in Clonlattin TBC ,this should lead them nicely into the Leinster Quarter Final on the 14th of January.
