U15s WIN SOUTH EAST FINAL

Match report and photo of the SE Final played between Gorey & Kilkenny at New Ross RFC on Wednesday 7^th 2014 at 7:30pm

The Leinster under 15 Southeast leagues final was played on a perfect evening with a great number of supporters for both teams. Both had met previously during the year with very little separating either and the expectation was that this game would be no different.

The game was one of the closest and hardest fought games of the season with both teams defending and attacking with strength. In the first 10 minutes of each half Kilkenny put Gorey under a lot of pressure but Gorey came back and stayed in the game with tries coming from Cameron Reynolds and Eoin Molloy and a conversion and penalty from Killian Pierce with the final score sealed by a superb drop goal from Fionn (ROG) O’Loughlin in the final minute of the game.
