GOREY RFC HOSTED AN ACTION BREAST CANCER "LADIES DAY" FUNDRAISER ON SUNDAY 26th FEBRUARY which was a great success.

Blessed by one of the best days of the year weatherwise, large numbers of ladies and their families turned out to enjoy a great day including a Ladies Reception with Pink Champagne, Strawberries and Pink Muffins. While the kids enjoyed face-painting, a bouncy castle and other treats.

Leinster's Leo the Lion was on hand and he brought along the Heineken Cup.

The large crowd enjoyed a berbeque during the three games, the Ladies, The J2s and finally the J1s.

The day was topped off by the J1s beating Athy to become Division Champions.

Gorey RFC would like to thank everyone who turned out to support this very worthy charity event, as well as all those club members who volunteered their services onthe day to make it such a great success.

All funds raised on the day will go to Action Breast Cancer.
