Santa Visits Gorey RFC Mini-Rugby for their last training session of 2021

The big red fella and his merry band of elves visited the Gorey RFC Mini Rugby training session last Sunday, bringing a festive air to the club on the last Mini-Rugby training session of 2021.

Santa visited all the groups from the Nippers all the way up to the Under 12 Teams. He was very impressed with all the groups and was especially delighted to see large groups of Girls Under 10 and 12 enjoying their training. Santa with help from our club President Trysh Sullivan presented each player with a Selection Box kindly sponsored by Gorey RFC.

The Mini players raised funds for the Mini-Rugby and our friends at North Wexford Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (NWSPCA) Animal Rescue in Gorey with €157 being raised for the Mini program and €157 raised for the NWSPCA. Thank you very much to all who donated.

On behalf of Gorey RFC we would like to thank our faithful sponsors Pirates Cove for their continued support, Paul Swaine, our Mini Coordinator, all the Coaches, Parents and especially the players who continue to amaze us and give us hope for the future of Gorey RFC.

Mini-Rugby will start back training on Sunday 09 Jan 2022. We look forward to seeing you all again in 2022.
