Excitement is mounting as Gorey RFC prepares to start its campaign in one of rugby's most loved, and eagerly anticipated competitions.

Having received a bye in the first round, Gorey makes the short trip to Park Lane in Wexford next Sunday to face Wexford Wanderers for their opening game in Round Two of the competition.

Wanderers had an impressive win over Mullingar in their first-round game and they won't make things easy for Gorey in what promises to be an exciting cup fixture.

Kick-off is at 3pm on Sunday 26th February.
