Gorey Junior girls were delighted to be invited by Leinster branch to play Naas in the RDS last Fri 17th Feb during the half-time interval of Leinster v Scarlets Rabo Direct Pro 15 match.

The Gorey girls received the kick off in front of a near capacity 16000, and were just settling in to the task, when the Naas girls scored a breakaway try.

Undeterred, the Gorey girls started playing to their strengths, employing their forwards, led by Caoimhe Molloy and Chelsea Brun, to break down tough Naas resistance, before spreading wide to Orla Molloy, who's pace unlocked the defence.

The game was to finish one try apiece, a fair result as the teams seemed well matched.

After the main game, both teams were treated to autographs and photographs by the Leinster players. A fitting end to an unforgettable evening.
