Gorey Minis Travel To Tullow RFC

Gorey RFC Minis travelled to Tullow RFC for a blitz on a very cold Sunday, 10th March.

However, it would take more than a bit of cold weather to deter these determined rugby players and they travelled in great numbers with 160 mini's players, from Under 7s up to Under 12s, making the journey to our rugby neighbours.

As ever, Tullow proved to be strong oppostion, but all teams gave a great account of themselves and displayed fantastic rugby skills that can only bode well for the future of Gorey Rugby Club.

Skills in tackling, passing and mauling were on display at a level more often associated with older players and every team can be very proud of not just their playing skills but on how the represented their club.

We look forward to welcoming Tullow back to Gorey for a blitz very soon and thank them for the great hospitality.
